BEYOND: How did you come to be a part of the BEYOND family?


Becca: I have been a part of the BEYOND family since day one with my first Pilates class at the studio. It was the first time I had ever used a reformer and on that day I became hooked–hooked on Pilates and hooked on BEYOND.



BEYOND: What can clients expect when taking your BEYONDclasses?


Becca: Clients can expect to sweat, learn and laugh. My dynamic workouts ensure the sweat, my explanations of the movements serve to continually educate the clients, and my sense of humor, whether understood or not, hopefully gets a few laughs.



BEYOND: What’s your favorite BEYOND exercise?

Becca: I am an oblique junkie so I always enjoy my mermaid and snake work.  I love the reverse leg series in any shape or form because every time it still challenges me like it was the first time. I want to yell at whoever is teaching that move because it burns.  I could keep going, but I will leave it with those.


BEYOND: When not leading a BEYOND class you are…


Becca: With my two-year old son Max, playing outside with trucks in the dirt or at Whole Foods. There’s a pretty good chance we have done both and then go for round two of outside play. I am lucky to live off the Katy trail–Max loves it.



BEYOND: What days can clients book your classes?


Becca: Right now my schedule at Lover’s is Mondays at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; Thursdays at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Fridays at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.; and Sundays 9, 10, and 11 a.m. But keep on the lookout because I will be adding more.



BEYOND: How did you start your fitness journey?


Becca: This is my favorite question. I have been teaching and training for nine years now. It all started when I was still in middle and high school.  I have my mom, who owns an aquatic fitness facility, to thank because she was the one who introduced me into the fitness industry. I spent many years at the SCW Dallas Mania conferences with her as a child. It started as a fun weekend downtown at a hotel seeing my mom and her other instructor friends who worked the conference, but after the second or third year, I had the feeling of something bigger: the beginning of my passion. Fast forward more than a decade and here I am. This is still my passion and I enjoy entirely everything there is about teaching. I am thankful for BEYOND and that mic.



BEYOND: What motivates you to live an active and healthy lifestyle?


Becca: That truck and dirt obsessed two-year old I just told you about. Max is so high energy and there is no slowing down, at least for the next 16 years. Plus, it has always been a high priority instilled in me by my parents. Thank you Mom and Dad.



BEYOND: What is your go-to post workout snack?


Becca: Shakes are my fave. I love Orgain protein shakes because they are easy on the go and organic. You can always find a Kize bar in my bag, too.



BEYOND: What’s your favorite training gear/ apparel?


Becca: Right now I am rocking some awesome Zara Terez pants and I am obsessed with this brand. BEYOND is to blame for this. Thankful we sell them in our studio.



BEYOND: What’s your idea of going BEYOND?


Becca: Going BEYOND means the world to me because it’s my goal to thrive and continue evolving in this crazy life we all live. BEYOND comes with me outside the studio and follows me into my relationship with my son, family, friends and life. If you aren’t going BEYOND, you aren’t living.
