It’s not Pilates; it’s BEYOND. In BEYOND Pilates, we combine legendary fitness techniques with pumping tempo-specific music to create a full-body workout on our customized reformer, a.k.a. The Bed. Boredom is not in our vocabulary during your anything-but-sleepy 50-minute workout: think smooth, continuous movements shaken up with heart rate-directed intervals to make you sweat, shake and burn every time we take you BEYOND. We’ll teach you how to put your mind to your muscle to take your movement and your body to the next level.
BEYOND PILATES + JUMP
Get your heart pumping with our newest Pilates Hybrid Interval Training class. We’ve coupled Pilates jump-board routines with the reformer moves you already love from our BEYOND Pilates class. This high intensity cardio-based reformer class simulates running and jumping without stress on the hips, knees and feet. You will sweat your way through cardio and strength intervals designed to keep your heart rate up while delivering a fun and challenging experience.
Our version of SMART interval training: BEYOND500 gives you strength and resistance exercises, cardio intervals, and of the afterburn effect will also boost your metabolism for hours post-workout. This marriage of resistance, cardio and mobility is what we stand by for your fat-burning, lean muscle-building body transformation that we’re all after. It’s safe and it’s sweaty; but most of all, it’s fun. We tailor our music and our movements for each BEYOND500 session to create your most empowering, mindful, varying and exciting 50-minute experience.
You can have the best of both worlds. BEYOND Pilates + Run is our signature blend of controlled, low-intensity Pilates movements and the sweaty intervals of metabolism-boosting cardio. We’ll challenge your body’s natural balance through a series of movements on our customized reformer, improving your strength, flexibility and posture. Then we’ll transition you to the star apparatus from our BEYOND500 workout, the Woodway Curve treadmill, where your heart rate will move to new heights on an empowering roller coaster ride. YOU provide the power on this self-propelled treadmill that’s 30 percent more effective than the conventional model, so controlling your movement and intensity is still the name of the game.
We want to be on your calendar…but in ink, not pencil. Make sure you’ve created your online profile with us before your first session to reserve your equipment (space is limited). Simply click “Book Classes” to be directed to our 24/7 online scheduling system. At the top of our schedule page, click “Sign Up” to get started!
You must purchase BEYOND sessions BEFORE you can reserve a spot in one of our classes. Once you’ve created an account click Buy Classes + Memberships to select the option that best fits you. BEYOND sessions can be used for any class.
You are responsible for booking your own schedule and we make it mighty easy through our online scheduling software. Now that you have created an account, you can reserve your sessions through our live schedule. That schedule will tell you who’s teaching, at what time, what kind of session it is and how many spots are open. Sessions can be booked up to 10 days in advance.
Got a hot date? A flight to catch? A conference call? We understand, but please plan your BEYOND schedule accordingly. Arriving late is distracting to other individuals in the session and to the instructor. We want to keep the focused energy in the room throughout the entire 50-minute session. If you do not arrive within five minutes of the scheduled session time, your space may be given to someone who is waiting.
Due to a limited number of spaces available in each session, BEYOND has two types of charges to motivate attendance. A Late Cancel charge of $15 occurs if you cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled class time. A No Show charge of $25 occurs if you cancel within 2 hours of the scheduled class time, or if you are signed up for a class and do not attend.
There is parking in the street level lot as well as FREE underground parking with elevator access to the third floor.
Even if the session is full. When someone in the class cancels their reservation, you will be automatically added to and confirmed for the session. You will receive a wait list notification email letting you know that you’ve gotten in. Unless you go online and cancel your reservation, we are preparing to see your bright and shiny face.
This means you will NOT be automatically added to the class after that 14-hour point before the class. We do this so that you do not get an email at 3:00 a.m. confirming you for a spot in the 6:00 a.m. session that day.Our cancellation period begins at 12 hours. So, at the very minimum, you have a two-hour window to cancel your reservation (without penalty) if you’re added to the class from the waitlist at the 14th hour. Since cancellations occur often and the waitlist locks, it’s best to check the night before or the day of the class for an opening.
We’d love for you to give your cell phone a break for 50 minutes; however, we understand that you have other things going on. If you need to take a call or keep your cell close by, just keep it on hushhush mode and work out in a place where you can leave easily, if needed. Taking necessary calls? Cool. Playing Words With Friends? Not cool. All we ask for is a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
Don’t hate on the pumping music. That’s what makes our workouts fun, new and different. When sessions are going on, it can be hard to hear the phone or answer it. For an immediate response, send us an email Dallas@theBEYONDstudios.com .
A cubby box is provided for keys or a gym bag; however, the cubby can not be locked. Do not store valuable items in the cubbies. BEYOND cannot be held liable for lost or stolen items.

I first found Pilates after two devastating knee surgeries sidelined me from running and other active pursuits I quickly fell in love with the challenge but accessibility it allowed. In 2010 I discovered a new studio down the street from my childhood home called BEYOND Pilates. I loved the music based flow of the workout that added another level of excitement to Pilates as I knew it.
After a few years of being a dedicated BEYOND client, I obtained my Balanced Body Comprehensive Certification and later my Pilates Method Alliance certification. I took my love of teaching to Washington DC for 4 years where I found a studio that supported my passion for mixing Pilates with music. Even there I knew I wanted more and I wanted it to be BEYOND!
In 2018 I jumped at the chance to take over the studio that led me to teaching! Let’s go BEYOND together!
