We are located on the SouthEast corner of Herndon & Clovis in the Trading Post Shopping Center. Parking at this shopping center is free and on most days, it will be easy for you to find a spot. The busiest times are in the afternoon on weekends, so plan on arriving a little earlier to avoid being late to class!

It’s not Pilates; it’s BEYOND. In BEYOND Pilates, we combine legendary fitness techniques with pumping tempo-specific music to create a full-body workout on our customized reformer, a.k.a. The Bed. Boredom is not in our vocabulary during your anything-but-sleepy 50-minute workout: think smooth, continuous movements shaken up with heart rate-directed intervals to make you sweat, shake and burn every time we take you BEYOND. We’ll teach you how to put your mind to your muscle to take your movement and your body to the next level.

Brandi Marino

BRANDI MARINO (aka “The Assassin”), The Fitness Entrepreneur behind BEYOND® and PHIT – Pilates Hybrid Interval Training. In 2010 she founded BEYOND in Dallas, Texas with the idea that traditional fitness needed to be turned upside down.

Don’t be surprised to bump into a dog or two. She is hopelessly devoted to helping rescue dogs. She loves their positive attitude, incredible energy, and all-around determination. It’s something she will channel every day at BEYOND.

WHAT’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU MANY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW?
I’ve been a student of Pilates for 12 years and got my comprehensive training 5 years ago in Long Beach. I took a couple years off after having my kids (the cuties on the carriage in the photo above), and when my family and I relocated to Clovis last year I decided to pick it back up again! I also love to sing and do karaoke so don’t be surprised if you hear me humming into the microphone while you’re sweating it out!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THE BEYOND WORKOUT?
The variety! Pilates gets a bad wrap for being “slow”, but at BEYOND even when we slow things down the music and vibe in the studio keeps it fun and exciting.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BEYOND MOVE?
I love a creative core series. Whether it’s with the short box on the platform, moving the footbar to the back of the bed, or removing all the springs from the reformer, our core is where all proper movement begins and I love being able to help clients achieve greater strength there. Especially if it can be in a way they’ve never tried before!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE AT BEYOND LIKE?
It felt a lot like how a baby deer looks learning to walk. I’m sure it wasn’t pretty to look at, but by my third class I totally found my groove and was hooked!

HOW WOULD YOU EXPLAIN THE WORKOUT TO A FRIEND INTERESTED IN BEYOND?
It is the best of everything: an intense isometric workout and a HIIT workout. If the two had a baby I’m pretty sure it would be BEYOND!!

HOW IS BEYOND DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER FITNESS CLASS YOU’VE TRIED? I’ve never been able to find all the things I love in one workout. It’s the perfect booty kicking for busy mamas or boss babes because you do it all!

BEYOND PILATES + TRAMP

You should jump at the chance to feel like a kid again in our energy-filled Pilates+Tramp session. We mix low-impact, high-adrenaline cardio on our joint-safe rebounder mini-trampoline with lean-muscle-building Pilates movements on our customized reformer. Each session is an expertly crafted combination of intervals to motivate a longer, leaner, and more invigorated you. Pumping music and detailed instruction make this workout fun, safe, and completely addicting.

PURCHASE YOUR SESSIONS

You must purchase BEYOND sessions BEFORE you can reserve a spot in one of our classes. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express; not monopoly money.

RESERVE YOUR SPOT

You are responsible for booking your own schedule and we make it mighty easy through our online scheduling software. Now that you have created an account, you can reserve your sessions through our live schedule. That schedule will tell you who’s teaching, at what time, what kind of session it is and how many spots are open. Sessions can be booked up to 10 days in advance.

WAITLIST

  • Simply click “Sign Up Now” next to a class, even if the session is full . You’ll be added to the session when someone in the class cancels their reservation.
  • ★ Once added you will receive a waitlist notification email, it means you have been added to the session AND you are CONFIRMED for the session. Unless you go online and cancel your reservation, we’re preparing to see your bright and shiny face.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Private sessions are not required. Our workout is specifically designed for a group setting. You don’t need any previous Pilates, yoga or dance experience to attend a class, so dont put too much pressure on yourself to be an all-star right off the bat. The first class is never your best class, and thats okay. Arrive early so that your instructor can walk you through the bed prior to the session and give you beginner modifications as needed.

The majority of our new students come to class with no Pilates experience. However, if you have injuries or restrictions, privates can be scheduled at any time when group classes are not in session. If you’re concerned, just let us know and we’ll take care of you.

IS THIS TRADITIONAL PILATES?

Our workout is designed to improve strength, flexibility and posture, to build lean muscle and to keep the body mobile. While our sessions do include Pilates-inspired moves, we also incorporate exercises from other fitness disciplines. We do not focus on reps and sets; instead we use continuous movements and combinations of muscle groups working to fatigue. Our energy filled sessions, complete with pumping music and detailed instruction, make working out fun, safe and completely addicting.

ARE THERE DIFFERENT LEVEL CLASSES?

No- that’s what make us different! Our routines are never choreographed, but always uniquely inspired. “Bored” isn’t part of our vocabulary. The instructors have a wide-range of certifications-all types of Pilates, yoga, indoor cycling, personal training, step and dance to name a few. In addition to the bed, we have balls, bands, weights and other contraption that we’ll mix into your workout. You’ll never know what’s inside our bag of tricks.

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD WE HOOK UP?

This depends on the individual. Listen to your body to find a routine that works for you. We recommend three to four sessions per week to allow your muscles to properly recover and repair. We know you’ll miss us on your days off.

UGH, DO I GET CHARGED IF I DON'T SHOW UP?

Pilates Dog LLC (DBA BEYOND Studios) have two types of cancellation charges, Late Cancel and No Show (or we refer to as motivational fees). A Late Cancel charge of $15 will occur if you cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled session time. A No Show charge of $25 will occur when you are signed up for a session and do not attend, or if you cancel within 2 hours of the scheduled session time. Sorry, no exceptions. Questions regarding charges from BEYOND can be directed to accounting@theBEYONDstudios.com

If you would like to cancel or modify a reservation or appointment, click “Cancel.”

“Late Cancel” appears when the online cancellation period has passed. This option can be used to allow another person to register for that available reformer. For more information, please contact BEYOND Studios 559.800.8210.
